I almost got a 10 point buick today, are they in season?

Please don’t hang clothes on sprinkler head?
While in my hotel room tonight I noticed this odd warning sign. I have to ask is this really a problem? The sprinkler head is just shy of 10 feet off the floor. I’m 6’1″ and couldn’t reach it if I wanted. Just curious.
