Back to Arkansas and more snow… (AKA Ice Pics)
Pics from my trek back to Tulsa through Arkansas yesterday.
The Return Trip to Tulsa
Well it is the next day (Thursday the 18th) and the roads were much better
then yesterday. I was able to get quite a few pictures of the ice but I
don’t think the camera really captures the feeling of otherworldliness it
creates. It is like driving through Narnia.
Wed the 17th on the way to NW Arkansas
I was really surprised when I left Tulsa today and hopped on Hwy 412 to find
that it was still in surprisingly bad condition. I was even more surprised
when I saw how bad the damage was from the Cherokee Turnpike until close to
Siloam Springs Arkansas. Unfortunately between trying to keep in the slots
available to drive and being on a conference call at the same time I took
only a few pictures. I will take some more on my way back through.
