The Broken Anus Conundrum… www.TheRoadBlog.com

Broken What?

While going over some of the analytics for TheRoadblog I was looking at the top 10 things people search for
 

that results in their trip to TheRoadBlog.com.   I was a bit surprised to see that number 2 on the list is “Broken Anus”.   Now this both made me chuckle and feel concern at the same time however the reason is kind of Simple.

Back in March of 2007 I posted a picture from the Applebees in Broken Arrow, OK which reads “If you like it bold you’ll like our anus.” If you take all the parts such as Broken from Broken Arrow and Anus from the sign you see how Google is Assuming the topic is broken anus. I won’t comment on the fact people are searching for broken anus on the internet – - I just take the web traffic anyway I can get it :) Although I might suggest dialing 911 if you suspect your anus is broken!
 

On another odd note number 3 is Brinkman Ranch. I was with some of my family in Dallas and snapped a quick picture of the shell left from the original Southfork from TV’s Dallas which was the Brinkman Ranch.  After the miniseries was picked up as a weekly series they changed the opening and the ranch used was the one we are used to seeing as Southfork. Apparently there isn’t much on the web about the original ranch and as such I get allot of traffic from people looking for a picture.  Had I known how many people would be looking at that picture I would have tried to take a better one.  As it is the picture was taken with my cell phone at the time (An AT&T Tilt I believe.)  and is not what you would call high quality.  Below is the opening sequence showing the Brinkman ranch as Southfork.  Well that’s it for now!  -Jeebs
